Château La Clarière 以四座獎盃（Trophies）與超過80枚金獎（Golds）的輝煌成績，清楚證明Castillon產區的葡萄酒足以超越鄰近的聖艾米隆（St-Émilion）特級園（Grand Cru）。來自傑出的2020年份，這款豐富、絲絨般的波爾多紅酒（claret）果味飽滿，榮獲五枚金獎實至名歸。

自1967年Tony Laithwaite首次在Castillon工作以來，他就一直是這個產區的堅定擁護者。正如《Wine International》所寫、Tony也深信：「如果不是那條劃分Castillon與Saint-Émilion的界線，這裡的酒價會是現在的兩倍。山丘相同、土壤相同、日照相同。」
